Fast Food Health Risks That Will Shock You - Food Revolution Network


The food industry has brought many advantages to the world, but it has also had its downside. This image represents or indulges the downside that processed food has on its consumers. It states that "processed food is easy to advertise and satisfy hunger"; it refers to fast-food restaurants like McDonald's, Wendys, Water burgers, etc. They advertise to attract consumers to consume their products by promoting their food and giving out specials. It also states, "but it's time we recognize," which refers to when people should start noticing or opening their eyes to pay attention to what they are consuming; not everything is as good as it may seem. Then it ends with "its dramatic harm on all facets of society." which refers to processed food and the negative side of consuming this type of food. This image was interesting to share with people because not everything seems to be what it is; processed food may seem easy and fast to access, such as fast food where people can satisfy their hunger but are not aware of its effects. Throughout the years, people have gotten used to getting easy and fast food that they tend to overlook the most important thing.  This image suggests people to look beyond delicious and easily accessible food and instead look at what they are consuming what chemicals it has? What process did the food go through? And what are the effects that it can have on their health? All these are essential factors to consider when buying processed food.

In the united states, epidemiological reports have recently pegged cultural anxiety disorders as the third largest mental problem in this nation, after depression and alcoholism. It's estimated that about seven percent of the population suffers from a 13-14 percent disorder. Social anxiety is a heavy thing to deal with because it is a mental health condition in which social interactions cause irrational anxiety, fear, self-consciousness, and embarrassment. Social anxiety disorder, sometimes is referred to as social phobias, is a type of anxiety "that causes extreme fear in social settings. People with this disorder have trouble talking to people, meeting new people, and attending social gatherings. They fear being judged or scrutinized by others" (Social Anxiety Disorder). which makes it impossible for them to socialize. There are different types of movies. Each film has a genre: comedy, romance, Adventure, Action, horror, and sci-fi movies. Have you ever discussed some movies you have seen? We can all agree we have different types of likes and dislikes. This may lead us to discuss with friends, colleges, and relatives. another per may not like your genre.  For example, you may have a movie you want to see, but someone else has seen it.
